July 16, 2019 – The fifth public workshop in support of the Together Roswell Listening & Learning tour was hosted last evening in Roswell’s Gate City Brewing. More than 300 people attended the event making the largest gathering in the process thus far. Participants of the workshop cycled through a series of five activities, providing valuable input to the strategic planning process. After a brief presentation from the planning team, attendees offered close to 1,000 unique comments through smartphone polling, facilitated discussions and map-based activities.
Participants offered a wide range of ideas about the most important opportunities to improve the quality of life and place. Through five in-person meetings and online submissions, just under 1,000 people have participated in the Together Roswell process to-date. All comments collected through the process will be published to the website and summarized through an engagement phase report.
Additional public meetings will be held in August and publicized through the process website www.TogetherRoswell.org.
