Roswell is a city in Georgia with a population of 92,688. Roswell is located in Fulton County and is one of the best places to live in Georgia. Living in Roswell offers residents a dense suburban environment and most residents own their homes. Roswell has many restaurants, cafés and parks. Roswell is a charming suburb with a thriving economy, shopping opportunities, great schools, security and incredible weather.
However, the city has traffic problems and the high cost of living is also an issue. Before I go too far, I want to spend just a minute in downtown Roswell, as it's one of the most interesting downtown areas in Georgia. The downside of West Roswell is that it usually takes longer to get to freeways and work, and simply getting to other areas of Atlanta takes longer from west Roswell. During the summer months, Roswell organizes what is called Alive in Roswell, a free festival held on the third Thursday of every month of April to October.
But when it comes to enjoying the outdoors, I have to say that there's a tie between East Roswell, with access to Big Creek, and the proximity to Chattahoochee parks and downtown Roswell. If I'm a foodie, I have to say that East and West Roswell also have great restaurants, but not the various options available in downtown Roswell and, above all, they're not within walking distance of each other. The west side has every major retail location along Crossville Rd you could want, and for everyday shopping, at stores like Target, Chik-Fil-A, or Home Depot, West Roswell beats East Roswell. The eastern part of Roswell is comprised mostly of subdivisions and has two large and well-known golf and course club communities: the Country Club of Roswell: Willow Springs and Horseshoe Bend Country Club.
If you live in Roswell and travel to work, you'll most likely have to take the Georgia 400, which leaves in the morning and afternoon.
