Roswell is a city in northern Fulton County, Georgia, United States. Roswell, a suburb near Atlanta, has a thriving historic district. Large, energetic and cosmopolitan Atlanta is a booming regional hub for the growing and increasingly prosperous South of the United States. Originally, Atlanta was founded as a transportation crossroads, as railroads converged at its location at the end of the mountains and they extended in all directions.
Today's Atlanta continues to play that role, both for land and air transportation, as it originates more flights than any other city, except Chicago. However, more generally speaking, Atlanta has grown, first as the headquarters of giants such as Coca-Cola and Delta Airlines and, more recently, as a regional business center and vital headquarters for large corporations. The headquarters of Home Depot, UPS, CNN and Bellsouth are located in the area, and almost every company you can think of has operations here, and some they are quite large.
